RADISSON BLU HOTEL, EDINBURGH CITY CENTRE, EDI – A Smart Stay in the City

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. The room was perfect, beautifully decorated for my partner's birthday, with a stunning view of Arthur's Seat. The bed was large and cozy, and the modern bathroom was a great addition. The superb view over eastern Edinburgh added to the charm.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The rooms were lovely, and the location couldn't have been more perfect. As a family, we found the size just right. The only downside was waiting around for ages before things were resolved by the staff.

The hotel is situated perfectly in the heart of Edinburgh's old town, making it ideal for exploring the city on foot. The rooms, though a bit of a walk to the quieter back area of the fifth floor, are very comfortable and provide a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets below. The service was attentive and friendly, with helpful staff that took the time to engage with guests. The central location near all the main sights enhances the overall experience, but the dining options, while basic, left room for improvement.

The hotel was conveniently located in the city center, though the walk to the rooms was a bit tiring with heavy luggage. The room we initially stayed in, 523, needed better soundproofing, but it was spacious. We had to request a room change, which the manager agreed to.

The hotel's room had a few cleanliness issues with dirty glass and a cigarette from the previous guest, and the bathtub was not entirely clean. The room had an adjoining door to the next room resulting in some noise disturbance. However, after engaging with the helpful reception staff, the room turned out to be lovely and spacious, with some nice additional amenities.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location was incredible, being right on the Royal Mile and close to Waverley Station, I found the room to be less than ideal. Despite the helpful service, including advice on local attractions, the room had issues with heating, making it uncomfortable during cold nights. The dining options, although fresh and tasty, had minor issues. The facilities were decent overall.

The hotel's location on the Royal Mile is fantastic, close to major attractions and a plethora of dining options. While the rooms were satisfactory, the promise of adjacent rooms wasn't fully met due to distance and noise concerns. The service was exceptional, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Dining was good, although pricing for some items seemed high. Overall, a great base for exploring Edinburgh.

The rooms were cozy and well-insulated, keeping the street and surrounding noise at bay. However, there was a minor inconvenience with the nearby storage cupboard leading to occasional disturbances from the cleaning staff.

The hotel has modern rooms with wonderful LED lighting effects, convenient round pin electric sockets, and USB charging sockets. However, noise from adjoining rooms can be a disturbance throughout the night.
